"The Spiritual Dimensions of Pro-Life Activism"

Joe Scheidler is the Founder and National Director of the Pro-Life Action League. He is the author of CLOSED: The Pro-Life Activists’ Manual, a how-to book on pro-life activism. His videos featuring former abortion providers, Meet the Abortion Providers and Abortion: the Inside Story, expose the abortion business from the experience of those who worked in the abortion clinics.

Scheidler’s tactics were so effective in turning women away from abortion clinics that in 1986 the National Organization for Women sued him under federal RICO (racketeering) laws intended to counter organized crime. This case, NOW v. Scheidler, has gone to the U.S. Supreme Court three times. The last two times (in 2003 and 2006), the Court ruled 8-1 and 9-0 in his favor. Mr. Scheidler will provide an update on this case and give us his spiritual insights into pro-life activism.
